What we’ve actually shipped

Two finished builds, clearly labeled, and how an engagement works before the next case study exists. No inflated case studies, no invented metrics.

Real engagements

Two finished builds

Both are systems-design and infrastructure work — not process-transformation case studies. Here’s the honest difference, and why it matters.

Systems design · New business launch — not a process-transformation case study

$107/month operations stack for a professional services startup

The constraint: a brand-new firm needed a connected CRM, phone, invoicing, and payroll setup from day one — without enterprise pricing, and without anyone re-keying data between systems.

What we built: a 7-tool stack around HubSpot Free as the hub, so every tool connects to it natively. Three of seven tools are free; the full stack runs $107/month with payroll running.

Still manual: Apollo’s free tier caps exports at 10/month, so confirmed repliers get hand-entered into HubSpot — a deliberate tradeoff, not an oversight.

Private infrastructure · Secure document access — not an SMB process-consulting engagement

Private Android kiosk fleet for a family trust, zero public exposure

The constraint: a private family trust needed sensitive documents reachable only by five specific people on five specific devices, with a fully auditable path and nothing exposed to the public internet.

What we built: a WireGuard VPN gateway as the only public-facing component, five Android devices locked into kiosk mode with per-user biometric enforcement, and seven internal apps reachable only through the tunnel. $15–40/month.

What we didn’t buy: commercial MDM platforms and cloud-hosted document systems — both put the management console on vendor infrastructure the trust couldn’t fully audit.

Coming once a Cobb County engagement wraps

First back-office case study: coming once a Cobb County engagement wraps.

When one does, this space gets a real before-and-after on one metric, such as days from job done to invoice sent. Not before. We’d rather show nothing than a number we made up.

How an engagement works

One workflow. Reviewed first. A number at the end.

This is what an actual engagement looks like before it becomes a case study.

Pick one workflow

The single process costing you the most time or money right now — not a department-wide overhaul.

Define “done” in writing

Before anything changes, we agree on the specific metric that proves it worked — days from job done to invoice sent, rework hours, error rate, whatever fits the workflow.

Review, implement, then measure

The $500 Workflow Review includes an on-site walk with your staff, documents the current flow, proposes the new one, and quotes the implementation. If you go ahead, we run the new version and report the actual number against what “done” was defined as.

One workflow, a written review, a real number at the end — the same process described above, run on your business.
